BNWT

The English acronym "Brand New With Tags" means new with tags. This term is commonly used to indicate that the item is new, never worn, and still has its original tags.

Fan Version

Entry-level jersey designed for fans. It features the team's official colors and design, but with simpler materials and a looser fit.
It is often found under the names “Replica” or “Stadium” among the main equipment manufacturers.

Player Version

High-end jersey for demanding fans or collectors, often inspired by the one worn by the players — better cut, more technical materials, applied logos rather than simply sewn on, etc.
It is generally marketed under the names “Authentic” or “Match”, sometimes under the name of the technology used.

Player Issue

Professional jersey designed for clubs or national teams for on-field use, sometimes even without sponsors, made for match conditions. This is the most technical model, identical to the one worn by the players.

Match Issue

Professional jersey prepared for a match or competition. Printed and sized to the player's specifications, it has not, however, been worn during a match.

Match Worn

Professional jersey, flocked and corresponding to the player's size, which was worn during an official or pre-season match.

Template

Identical model of a jersey which is then personalized by the brand with colours and crest according to the club or the selection (Total 90 2004 at Nike or Teamgeist 2006 at Adidas for example).

Sublimation

A printing technique that involves embedding special inks directly into the fiber of the jersey.

Dual Layer

Dual internal layer technology for professional jerseys at Nike and Adidas from 2002 to 2004.
