History
Extremely rare away shirt worn during the 1988/89 title-deciding match at Anfield. The odds were against the Gunners, who hadn't won at Anfield for 15 years. And yet, Arsenal went on to win the title, something they hadn't done since 1971. It was also worn in the following two seasons, as the club rebounded from a fourth-place finish to win the First Division again, suffering only one league defeat throughout the entire 1990/91 season.
