History
During the 1992/93 season under Giovanni Trapattoni, Juventus finished 4th in Serie A. Their greatest achievement was in Europe: the club won the UEFA Cup, defeating Borussia Dortmund in the final (6-1 on aggregate). Roberto Baggio, the 1993 Ballon d'Or winner, was the team's technical leader.
For the 1993/94 season, Marcello Lippi took over mid-season. Juve finished 2nd in Serie A and reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup but were eliminated by Cagliari.
