History
At the 1994 World Cup in the United States, the Seleção returned to the forefront of the world stage after a decade without a title. The team reached the final against Italy, a hard-fought match that ended in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw at the end of regulation and extra time. Brazil thus won its fourth World Cup, becoming the most successful nation in history at that time. This victory was also marked by the pragmatic style of coach Carlos Alberto Parreira, combining tactical discipline with individual talent.
