History
Olympique de Marseille experienced a year of contrasts. In Ligue 1, the club finished in a disappointing 10th place, hampered by a string of league defeats. However, OM shone in cup competitions, winning the Trophée des Champions and the Coupe de la Ligue, and reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.
