History
During the 2012-2013 season, AS Saint-Étienne had a remarkable season under the management of Christophe Galtier. In Ligue 1, Les Verts finished in 5th place, qualifying for the Europa League. The highlight of the season was their victory in the Coupe de la Ligue, against Stade Rennais. This trophy ended a 32-year drought and symbolized the resurgence of the Saint-Étienne club.
